I needed a new bird feeder for my back yard so rather than buy one I decided to turn one. I used mahogany which is a good choice for an outdoor wood. I didn't finish the feeder at all as I didn't want to expose the birds to any sort of chemical. There was a fair amount of woodworking involved to get the parts ready to turn. As this is a turning video I included short clips on what it took to get the parts ready. The feeder has been up for about a week and it's a big hit with my feathered friends. I hope you enjoy the video. Comments are always welcome.
